Maximum Light, Refined Design

Designed for Architecture That Prioritises Light
The RLS200 Louvre Roof System is defined by its exceptionally slim profile and high light transmission, making it an ideal solution for projects where daylight, spatial connection, and refined detailing are central to the design intent.
At just 22mm thick and 200mm wide, the RLS200 allows up to 88% light penetration when open, maintaining strong visual and physical connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces. This makes it particularly well suited to residential architecture where louvre roofs are adjacent to primary interior spaces.

Clean Geometry, Minimal Visual Impact
The RLS200 has been developed for designers seeking a lightweight, elegant louvre profile with minimal visual bulk. When open, the blades visually recede, preserving sky views and natural light. When closed, the system provides effective weather protection without compromising architectural clarity.

Engineered for New Zealand Conditions
The system is integrated within a structural framework typically comprising Locarno’s proprietary aluminium RHS (rectangular) or PFC (channel) beams and posts. The system has been fully engineered for New Zealand environmental conditions, with PS1 documentation available to support building consent applications where required.

Key Considerations
• Slim 22mm blade thickness
