The RL200 is Locarno’s original rectilinear louvre roof profile and remains the most versatile choice across a wide range of architectural applications. Its balanced proportions, flat upper and lower surfaces, and subtle rebate detail result in a profile that integrates comfortably with both contemporary and traditional forms.
Offering up to 85% light transmission when open, the RL200 maintains excellent daylight performance while providing increased structural depth for improved spanning capability.

Designed to Be Seen From Every Angle
With a flat underside and clean top surface, the RL200 has been carefully detailed to read well from within the space below and when viewed from adjacent upper levels. This attention to two sided appearance makes it particularly suitable for multi storey dwellings, courtyard typologies, and architectural terraces.

Structural Integration
The RL200 louvre blades are fitted within Locarno’s aluminium beam and post systems, allowing consistent detailing across roof and screen elements. The system has been fully engineered for New Zealand environmental conditions, with PS1 documentation available to support building consent applications where required.
