Operable Horizontal Louvres

Typically used to control sun, light and privacy, the RL130 and SL130 are the most common specified operable louvre profiles.The operable louvres can be used to enclose a outdoor room or used over windows and may also be incorporated into sliding shutters.

The blades can be either manually operable or motorised. Jack McKinney specified motorised RL200 louvres outside the windows of his Poured Pleats project. The larger scale of the RL200 was chosen to match the scale of the poured in-situ concrete weatherboards.
